About downloads
Downloads are electronic files provided by the publisher. A download might be:
- A patch to a current version of software
- An upgrade to current software
- A trial version of a program
- Documentation for a program
Some downloads are free to all customers, while others require that you have an entitlement for a product.
A download may also have a limited availability.
Getting access to downloads
The Downloads page provides access to all of the available downloads.
To display the Downloads page, on the Assets menu, click Downloads.
After you select the company you want to manage downloads for, you can:
The Quick Key also contains an option to download files associated with the LACs provided. The Quick Key displays on the Home page and Activation menu, or when you log in with a LAC. See Logging in with a LAC to download files and Using the Quick Key to download files.
Poetic tracks the files that have been downloaded and who has downloaded them. From the Downloads page, you can view a history of downloads for the selected company.
