Fields on the EA Contract page

Overview tab

Contract Information

Company Required. In the Company field, type the name of the company that owns the contract.
Contract # Required. In the Contract # field, type the contract ID.
Description From the Description field, enter a description of the contract.
Program Required. Use the Program dropdown to select the EA Enterprise Program type.
Status Required. In the Status field, select a contract status: Active, Expired, Inactive, or To Be Released.
Start Date/End Date

Required. Select the Start Date and End Date for the contract from the date picker.

Pricing Information

Currency Required. From the Currency dropdown, select the currency for the contract.
Original balance Required. In the Original balance field, type the original balance entered for the contract.
Available balance Required. In the Available balance field, enter the current available balance.
Percent balance threshold Required. From the Percent balance threshold dropdown, select the percentage of the balance set as a threshold of the contract. This value is used to determine when to send the EA Contract Balance Threshold Notification.
Contract contact email Required. In the Contract contact email field, type the contract contact email addresses.
Display price information Required. Use the Display price information dropdown to indicate whether any of the pricing information dropdowns will display.
Display product list price Required. From the dropdown, select No or Yes to indicate whether to display the product list price on the Activation and View Entitlement page. The default value is No.
Display product percentage discount Required. From the dropdown, select No or Yes to indicate whether to display the product percentage discount on the Activation and View Entitlement page. The default value is No.
Display product net price Required. From the dropdown, select No or Yes to indicate whether to display product percentage discount on the Activation and View Entitlement page. The default value is No.
Display available balance Required. From the dropdown, select No or Yes to indicate whether to display the available balance on the Activation and View Entitlement page. The default value is No.
Display original balance Required. From the dropdown, select No or Yes to indicate whether to display the original balance on the Activation and View Entitlement page. The default value is No.

Additional Information

Use this section to add custom properties to provide further information about the contract.

Users tab

The Users tab contains information about the users who are associated with the EA contract.

[Add a User to the Contract] Use this option to add a new user to the contract. Clicking on the link displays the Search Users page.
First Name The first name of the user associated with the contract.
Last Name The last name of the user associated with the contract.
Email The email address of the user associated with the contract.
Contract Role Indicates the access level of the user: Admin (can view contracts, manage users and access levels, activate contract EA entitlements, and run contract reports; or User (can view contracts, activate EA entitlements, and run contract reports).
[Remove] Use this option to remove the user’s name from the contract.

Miscellaneous tab

The Miscellaneous tab provides links, attachments, and forms related to the contract.

Contract-Specific Links

Label The label for the URL.
Text The text display name for the URL link that appears on the page for the corresponding URL. If no URL is provided, then the text appears as plain text. This allows the user to add both notes and URLs to display on the page.
URL (optional) The URL for the link.

Contract-Specific Attachments

Used for selecting and loading attachments associated with the contract.

Browse Used to browse files to select to load as attachments.
Load Used to load selected files as attachments.
Description The display name of the file that is uploaded. This display name shows as the link for users who want to download the file.
Remove File Button used to remove the file from the list of uploaded files.

FAQs and Additional Forms

Used for links to FAQs and forms related to the contract.

Transactions tab

The Transactions tab displays the transaction history for the contract.

This tab requires the Security setting CAN_VIEW_CONTRACT_TRANSACTION.

Date The date and time of the transaction.
Action The transaction that occurred, for example, Activate.
Detail Details about transaction, for example, Status.
Original Value The original value prior to the action being tracked, for example, Expired.
