Widgets provide quick access to key Poetic functions and allow you to view available entitlement and machine information from the Poetic home page.
Based on your preferences, each widget can be added or removed. However, the home page must contain at least one widget.
The Poetic home page consists of the following widgets:
| Quick Keys | Allows you to enter an order number, LAC, or key and start the activation process. |
| My Links | Provides links to Poetic functionality based on your selections on the Manage My Links page.Click the link to access the Poetic page for the function. For example, if you click the Companies and users link, the Search Company page displays. |
| My Entitlements to Activate | Displays all the available entitlements that belong to your company.Click any entitlement in the table to display the Search Entitlements to Activate page. |
| My Machines | Displays all the activated machines registered under your company.Click any machine name in the table, or click the More… link to display the Search Certificate page. |
Selecting widgets
To select or deselect the widgets you want to display on the Poetic home page, use the Manage Widgets raised form.
- To access the raised form, from the Poetic home page, click Edit page widgets.
- To select a widget to display, check the Show? check box. You must select at least one widget to display on the Poetic home page.
- To remove the widget from the Poetic home page, uncheck the check box.
- Click Save to save your changes, or click Cancel to cancel your changes and return to the home page.
Hiding widgets
- To hide a widget on the home page, click the widget icon and then select Hide Widget.
- To show the widget again, click Edit page widgets from the home page and select the widget check box.
Managing links
To select the links that display under My Links on the Poetic home page, use the Manage My Links raised form:
- From the Poetic home page, click the My links widget icon, then click Edit links to display the raised form.
- Check the check boxes for the items you want to add to the home page.If the category has no sub-categories, such as Subscription, you only need to check one check box to add the link. If the category has sub-categories, such as Administration, you can toggle with the + and � symbols to open or close the category, and check the sub-categories you want to display.
- Click Save to save your changes.
