The security model helps determine how much data each user has access to.
- Standard mode allows you access to all entitlements that your company is a party to (dealer, sold-to, or end customer).
- Service mode allows you access to all entitlements that are assigned to groups for which you or your company is a coordinator.
If you belong to a channel company, then your company may be a party to some entitlements and a coordinator for other entitlements. To be able to see all of those entitlements, you need to be able to use both security models.
Poetic allows some channel users to toggle the security model currently being used.
If you have the proper privilege, then at the top of the side menu, below your name, is the current security model. Next to the security model is a Change link.
