Resetting the cache is required to enable configuration changes to take effect. For individual settings, the page includes an option to reset the cache specifically for that setting. For example, for list values, the Search Lists page includes a reset cache option to make sure any new or edited values for lists are included throughout the Poetic instance.
Poetic also includes a function to reset the cache for all of the settings.
To reset the entire cache:
- On the Administration menu, click Tools.

On the Tools menu, click Reset cache. The Reset cache option also is available on the Configuration tab of the Site Maintenance menu.

On the Reset Cache form, click the Reset Cache button. The cache is reset, and a notice confirming the reset displays.

Click Close to close the form.
