About the Machine Maintenance form
The Machine Maintenance form displays when you:
- Add a machine during an activation process.
- Click the Edit link for a machine or registration certificate
Fields on the Machine Maintenance form
| Machine name |
In the Machine name field, type the name of the machine. If you can have the name generated for you, then a Suggest Machine Name link displays next to the field. |
| Status |
From the Status dropdown, select the status of the machine. To disable the machine or registration certificate, select Disabled. A disabled machine cannot be selected during an activation process. You can only disable machines or registration certificates that do not have activated items or out-of-sync keys. |
| Other properties | You may be prompted to provide other information about the machine or registration certificate. Depending on the property, you either type the value into a field or select the value from a dropdown. |
