About internal entitlements
You can create an internal entitlement for internal functions, such as training or a demo. This function is only available if the Security CAN_CREATE_INTERNAL_ENT_REQUEST is enabled.
Creating an internal entitlement
To create an internal entitlement, from the Assets menu, click Internal entitlement request.
The Internal Entitlement Request page displays.
| Product # | Required. Type the product number, or click the find icon to search for a product. The product must be configured to allow internal entitlement requests. |
| Quantity | Required. Enter the quantity for the request. |
| Intended use | From the Intended use dropdown , select the reason for the request. The default options are R&D, Support, Product demo, Training, and Other. |
| Send request notification to | Required. Enter the email address to send the Internal Entitlement Request Notification to. The email address must be different from the user’s email and belong to an authorized email domain. |
- Click Next to display the Confirm page.
- On the Confirm page, check the check box to accept the terms and conditions, and provide notes for the entitlement transaction in the Notes section.
- Click Finish. Poetic creates the entitlements and sends a notification to the email address.
