About increasing the download count
Each download can be configured with a maximum number of times that a company can download it.
Once that number is reached, users from the company can no longer download the file.
There may be cases where the company should be able to download additional times. For example, if a customer’s machine breaks down and they need to obtain a new copy of the file.
The Download History tab includes an option to increase the download count for a specific download for the selected company.
Increasing the download count
From the Download History tab, to increase the download count for a specific download and company:
- On the toolbar, click Increase download count. The Increase Download Count form displays.
The Company is set to the currently selected company.</p – To search for and select the download for which to increase the available download count, click the find icon. – In the Increase count by field, type the number of additional times the company can download. – Click Save.
