Adding and editing a company’s users

Every user in Poetic has a profile. A user profile contains:

  • Contact information and mailing address
  • Login and password information
  • Preferences for receiving information from Poetic

To add or edit a user:

  1. On the Administration menu, click Companies and users. The Search Companies page displays.
  • To display a list of companies, enter search criteria, then click Search Companies. See Conducting searches for more information about searches.
  • Click the List Users link for the company for which you want to add or edit a user. The Search Users page displays the company’s active users.

You can use the search criteria to narrow the list of users within the company. See Conducting searches for more information about searches.

  • To add a user, click Add User. To edit a user, click the Edit link for the user you want to edit.

  • The Overview tab of the User Profile Maintenance page displays.
  • Enter or edit the user’s information, then click Save. The information is saved to the database.
