About managing notifications

Once a notification has been sent, Poetic provides a tool to allow you to:

  • Check whether the notification has been delivered
  • View the content of the notification
  • Resend the notification to the original recipient
  • Forward the notification to other email addresses

Displaying the Search Notifications page

To display the Search Notifications page:

  1. On the Administration menu, click Site maintenance.
  • On the Site Maintenance menu, click the System Monitoring tab.
  • On the System Monitoring page, click Email notifications.

The Email notifications option also is available from the Tools menu.

Displaying a list of notifications

To display a list of notifications, specify search criteria, then click Search Notifications.

You can filter the notifications based on:

  • LAC
  • The email address of the recipient.
  • The company the recipient belongs to
  • The status of the notification. Active notifications have not yet been delivered. Processed notifications have been delivered.
  • The language in which the notification was sent
  • The type of notification
  • The last name of the recipient.
  • The date the notification was sent.

Including archived notifications as search criteria

To include archived notifications in the search, check the Include archived records check box on the Search Notifications page. Selecting this option extends the search time.

Viewing a notification

To view a notification, click its View link.

The notification display includes:

  • From address
  • To address
  • BCC address
  • Date sent
  • Subject line
  • Whether the notification includes attachments
  • Notification content

Resending notifications

To resend notifications to the original recipients:

  1. Check the check box next to each notification to resend.
  • Click Resend checked notifications.

Forwarding notifications

To forward notifications to a different address or addresses:

  1. Check the check box next to each notification you want to forward.
  • In the Forward to field, type the email address or addresses to forward the notifications to. Use commas to separate multiple addresses.
  • Click Forward checked notifications.
